GyvioHow to delete your account
- Open your profile and tap Settings (the gear at the top).
- Under More, tap Delete account.
- Read what will be deleted and what we keep, and check the Dash Coins still in your wallet.
- Type your username (or the word DELETE) to confirm, then tap Delete my account.
That's it. Your account closes straight away and you are signed out everywhere. This can't be undone.
Before you delete
- Cash out any earned Dash Coins you want to keep. Coins still in your wallet are lost when your account is deleted. Only earned coins can be cashed out; coins you topped up can't. See cash-out.
- Wait for any cash-out to finish. You can't delete your account while a cash-out is in review, queued or on its way to your bank. Once it has been paid, you can.
- Save anything you want to keep, such as your photos and videos. There is no way to get them back afterwards.
- Gyvio+ doesn't renew by itself, so there is nothing to cancel. Any time or Gyvio+ credit left ends with your account.
What happens straight away
- Your account is closed. You are signed out on every device and can't sign in to it again.
- Your profile is emptied: your name, username, photo, bio, city, date of birth, gender, country and email address are removed, and the link to your Google account is cut. Anywhere your name still appears, it says "Deleted user".
- Your posts and statuses disappear. Any giveaway you are running ends.
- You are removed from everyone's followers and following, from your blocks, and from your rooms. A room you owned passes to the member who has been in it longest; if you were the last member, the room is deleted.
- Any Meet chat or call you are in ends.
- Paid first messages and coins waiting between you and someone else go back to whoever sent them.
- Your notifications are deleted, and we stop sending notifications to your devices.
- Your wallet is frozen, and the phone number you gave for Gyvio+ is removed.
What is erased within 7 days
A week after you delete your account, we erase what you made on Gyvio. We wait that long so that anything you sent that someone wants to report can still be reported and looked at. After that:
- your posts and statuses, with their photos and videos, and the comments, likes, views and shares on them,
- the comments and likes you left on other people's posts, and your viewing history,
- your messages in chats and rooms, with their photos and voice notes (each becomes a "Message deleted" line),
- your streaks,
- stickers and sounds you added, unless someone else is using them (see below),
- every other file you uploaded, unless someone else is still using it.
What other people will notice
- Your messages in their chats and rooms become "Message deleted". Replies that quoted you keep the reply but lose your words and picture.
- If they reshared one of your statuses, the reshare disappears too.
- Posts of yours that were shared into their chats lose their picture and caption, and show "Deleted user".
- A photo someone forwarded on to another chat stays with them.
- A sticker someone saved, or a sound someone used in their own post, stays, credited to "Deleted user".
- Anything someone saved, screenshotted or shared outside Gyvio is out of our control.
What we keep, and why

Your username, and signing up again
Your username is held for 7 days, so nobody can take it straight away and pretend to be you to your friends. After that, anyone can take it, including you.
You can sign up again later with the same Google account. It starts a brand new account, with no link to the old one: no followers, posts, messages or coins come back.
If you can't sign in
If you can't get into the app to delete your account, email support@salesive.com with the subject "Gyvio delete account", from the email address of the Google account you use for Gyvio, and include your username. We will delete your account within 30 days, and may ask you to confirm it is you first.
Deleting less than everything
You don't have to delete your whole account to remove something. In the app you can delete a message you sent (for everyone in the chat), delete a comment, hide a post by deleting it, turn on disappearing messages in any one-to-one chat, and change or remove your profile photo, bio and city.
